4 days Gorilla

Day 1: > Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Pick up from the hotel by a safari professional driver who will brief you about the trip before setting off. The journey will set off to Bwindi impenetrable national park and the first stopover will be at the Uganda equator for a photoshoot and refreshment break. Proceed with the journey to Mbarara town where you will have lunch from Agip Motel hotel and after continuing with a view of Ankole longhorn cattle and the terraced Kigezi highlands which is known as ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’. Arriving in Bwindi impenetrable national park and head to the lodge to check in have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking. At 6:00 am take an African cup of coffee, organize your gorilla trekking equipment, have your packed lunch ready, and drinking water. Set off to the park headquarters for briefing from the Uganda wildlife authority on the rules and guidelines of gorilla trekking. You will then enter the jungle with the guide who will lead you into the undergrowth, muddy and thick forest. The time taken in the jungle depends on the movement of these mountain gorillas. It may take one hour to 8 hours and that is why we encourage our visitors to carry packed lunch. Visitors are given the chance of one hour with the mountain gorillas, taking photos, watching them, and learning about them. After you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Bwindi> Lake Mburo National Park . After breakfast, we embark on our journey to Uganda’s smallest savannah park. Along the way, we intend to have several stopovers then later have hot lunch in Mbarara before proceeding for the afternoon cruise at Mburo in search of different wildlife. After the cruise, we take on a short game drive later check in to our hotel for overnight. Depending on the day’s fatigue, we can choose to do a night game drive in search of the nocturnal animals.

Day 4: Lake Mburo> Kampala.After morning breakfast, we shall take on a walking safari in the park viewing different animals like; common elands, savannah baboons, giraffes, and bird species like Red-faced Barbet, Coqui Francolin, Black-bellied Bustard among other species then we head to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, we transfer back to Kampala making several stopovers along the way and seeing different things like drum making among others.

Inclusive of: Gorilla permit per person, professional English speaking driver/guide, entrance fees to the park, bottle water, activities fees, accommodation, meals, transportation
